We use them because essential oils are 100% natural, just like the all-natural soy wax that you know and love! That way, we can safely assure you that our candles are vegan, environmentally friendly, and more healthy than other scented candles too!

Listed below are a few facts about essential oils to give you a better idea of why we love them so much:

• Essential oils are all-natural rather than the synthetic oils used in many other scented candles
• Essential oils are made from plant extracts to produce a variety of fragrances

Is soy wax vegan?

Yes! If you’re vegan or even vegetarian, you’ll be happy to know that 100% soy wax candles are made free from any animal byproducts. High quality natural soy wax is made from soybean oil and is considered great for container candles.

Is soy wax sustainable?

Because soy wax is made from renewable resources (soy), it is considered much more sustainable than paraffin wax, which is a by-product of crude oil. Growing soy uses agricultural resources, but this process is much more environmentally friendly and leaves room for improvement where the manufacture of paraffin wax does not. 

Is soy wax good for candles?

It is! There are several reasons we love soy wax so much at Jackpot but one of the biggest ones is that soy wax burns more slowly than paraffin wax, which means your candle and its scent last longer.

Is soy wax safer than other waxes?

Soy wax is safer than other waxes like paraffin wax in a couple of important ways. Since it’s a natural product you don’t have to worry about toxins mixing into the breathing air in your home. Also, soy wax burns cleaner and results in less soot in your candle.
