Can you drink from the wine glass candles once your candle has melted away?

I like the way you think! Who wants a wine glass candle jar if you can’t drink out of it later? Really though, this is a great question with a great answer for anyone who has purchased one of Jackpot’s wine-themed candle and has wondered the same thing. 

The answer is Yes, you can totally drink from the wine glass after your candle is gone! The most important thing to know before you do, though, is that you’ll have to clean the jar thoroughly first. To get your wine glass ready for use, use the methods below to make sure your wine candle glass is clean and safe for use. 

How to Clean Your Wine Glass

There are several ways to make sure your wine glass is free of wax before you use it during happy hour. 

• The Hot Way – heat the bottom and sides of the glass with a hair dryer to melt and remove the leftover wax.

• The Cold Way – put your wine glass in the freezer for several hours. When the glass is fully chilled you can easily chip any remaining wax from the glass with a spoon. 

• Wash It – This one is easy. Use warm, soapy water to remove any remaining waxy residue away. Maybe even wash it twice. 

When you’re done, you can use your wine glass for the real thing. I hope you love your wine glass candle, Morgan, and the glass of wine you enjoy in it after too!
