The short answer is:

According to TSA - any solid candles are perfectly fine to bring on a plane in both checked and carry-on luggage. This includes Jackpot Candles' 100% soy wax blend, so you won't have any issues flying with our candles!
This also includes any jar or tin that the candles is housed in - so whether its a portable travel tin or a full-sized glass jar, you are safe to fly with Jackpot Candles in your bag.
Scented candles make amazing gifts and souvenirs... It's great that you can travel with them! It's important to remember though, while traveling with candles, we highly recommend:
1.) Packing them safely and securely (think bubble wrap or wrapped in a sweater) to avoid any dents or cracks
2.) Leaving them unwrapped or unboxed while you travel (in case a TSA agent needs to inspect them closely)
Note: Although this information comes straight from TSA, remember that the final decision on whether an item can pass through the inspection area is up to the TSA agent on duty.
A "solid candle" is any candle that is made of any type of solid wax. Since Jackpot Candles are formulated with essential oils and 100% soy wax, they fall under this category and are absolutely safe to fly with.
Candles that don't fall under the "solid candle" moniker mostly include gel candles - which are made of a petroleum-based wax, polymer resin, and/or mineral oil. These candles can be flown in checked baggage, but cannot be brought onto the plane itself.
TSA does not allow any liquids or gels (i.e. a gel candle) that is in a container greater than three (3) oz or not stored in a clear, one (1) qt. bag. Since gel candles fall under the "gel" category, they wouldn't be allowed in a carry-on.
Luckily, Jackpot Candles are not formulated with gel wax (and for good reason) - although these candles look pretty, they actually burn much hotter than regular candles and aren't structurally suited to release as many fragrances into your home.
1.) Soy Wax -our preferred type of wax! Soy wax burns evenly and cleanly for an extended burn. This wax is made from soybeans and is blended with essential oils and other ingredients (like a hidden ring surprise!) that will fill your home with beautiful fragrance

2.) Coconut Wax - this is another environmentally-friendly type of solid wax. Just like soy wax, coconut wax can be harvested sustainably and will burn clean and evenly. A pleasant side effect is the light, coconutty scent that comes along with this wax variant. If soy wax isn't available, coconut wax is an excellent alternative.
3.) Paraffin Wax - another extremely common wax. Paraffin wax is a byproduct of petroleum production - because of this, it is not a renewable resource (like soy wax) and does not burn cleanly. Although it is inexpensive, you should avoid this type of wax whenever possible.
4.) Beeswax - the most "traditional" type of wax, beeswax candles make great, artisanal pieces. Harvesting this wax is difficult and you're often stuck with the natural color of beeswax. A great natural option regardless!

Bath bombs are not a liquid or a gel, so they don't fall under any sort of TSA category that would prevent them from being taken on a plane. A good rule of thumb: if it isn't something that can be spread, squeezed, poured, or sprayed, and it maintains its shape outside of its container, you're in the clear!
Note:some individuals might feel sensitive about using the term "bath bomb" in conjunction with air travel, as the word "bomb" might be misconstrued. If this is the case, you can refer to it as a "bath ball" or some other innocuous term. TSA is very familiar with these items, however, and you should feel comfortable to explain what's in your bag!
Our recommendation - keep this one mostly contained in your luggage, as you won't want to overwhelm your fellow passengers with the amazing (but powerful, especially in a closed space) aromas of a Jackpot Candles bath bomb!
