Hey y'all! You know we are all about supporting a good cause and when it's other small businesses, you know we've got their back. The Sip, Shop, Support even we were at this past weekend was so amazing! Let me fill you in on the details!
What is Sip & Shop?
WINC Buffalo is a deliberate community of women who support and encourage each other. These ladies put on this wonderful annual event (known as Sip & Shop) to support other women and their local businesses with the goal of giving back to the community. This year, Jackpot Candles was SO excited to be a sponsor, helping to raise money for other local boss babes.
All proceeds from Sip & Shop were donated to Dress For Success, a generous not for profit organization that helps prepare women getting back into the workforce. Their mission is to help women dress for the job they want, gain financial independence & confidence in themselves, build up their resumes, improve their interview skills and so much more. These funds will help them to expand their resources and continue to make a difference for all kinds of amazing women.
What were we up to that night?
Being a small business ourselves, we feel that it's always important to uplift and help other small businesses and we have a definite soft spot for those that are owned and operated by like-minded ladies. How could we say no to such a perfect party? We were so happy to be there along side 25 other women-owned businesses in order to sponsor WINC and Dress For Success.
Thank you to everyone who came out in support of an awesome cause and to say hi & shop all of our pretty little candles! It was so much fun to get to meet so many of our biggest fans and best customers in person. Sip & Shop was such a great time! If you missed it this year, don't worry.
