Happy almost summer everyone! It's me again, Jade, your Jackpot Candles girl. I'm here EVERY FRIDAY for Jade's Two Scents. It's my every-week vlog where I talk everything Jackpot Candles - think amazing scented candles, fizzy bath bombs, self-care, relaxation, and having fun. Thanks so much for being here!

I am SO excited for the summer... Perhaps a bit tooexcited - I've been planning out my summer activities like crazy and realizing, "Hmmm... I think I need to come up with some budget-friendly ideas for everyday hangs!" That's when I realized, this would make an amazing episode of Two Scents!

I know what you're thinking... What if I'm single?! These aren't just boyfriend/girlfriend/partner/friend dates! These are things that you can do yourself OR with others. Everyone loves saving money, so here's what I came up with for some cheap summertime fun!

Cheap Summer Date Ideas:

Farmers Market:Farmers markets are both cheap and fun! It's a social way to get outside, see other people (safely), support local businesses and farmers, and maybe even get a snack from a food stand!

Thrifting:Do you see my outfit?! It was THRIFTED. Thrift stores are full of hidden treasures - with just a few bucks, you can snag yourself a new outfit, a trinket, or even have a photoshoot with some fun, affordable threads!

Picnics:Hear me out! You and your gal pals/boyfriend/girlfriend get a lil' basket, a lil' blanket, some unbreakable glasses... Be as fancy or basic as you want - the fun is in the customization! If you take a little time to make your own food, you'll save a bunch of money (and probably have fun doing it)

I am SO excited for these upcoming summer months! Lots of fun outdoors, on hikes, and chilling out in the backyard with family and friends... The only thing that could put a damper on that is BUGS.
