Hey Jackpot Candles Fam!

Hello everyone! Thanks so much for joining me - I hope you all had a fantastic St. Patrick's Day, I know I did!

This is Jade's Two Scents - my every-Friday blog where we discuss candles, bath bombs, self-care, and relaxation. It's my chance to hang out with the Jackpot Candles family and talk about fun stuff that I've been doing from week-to-week.

In honor of the green-ness of St. Paddys day, I wanted to talk about all the cool green products we have here at Jackpot Candles. First and foremost, I want to talk about our "Feeling Lucky?" candle - it's a dark green, double-cotton-wicked, eucalyptus-scented candle that is a part of our Monthly Club. In our monthly club, each Feeling Lucky? candle is paired with our Clever Clover bath bomb, a lemony/orange fizz-fest that will turn your bathwater a vibrant shade of green. I also wanted to share something else green - a DIY face mask utilizing avocado, oats, and a few other nourishing household ingredients - let's get right into it:

Ingredients:

-Half of an avocado

- 1 tablespoon of rolled oats

- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice

- 1 teaspoon of coconut oil

- 1 tablespoon of honey

Directions: 

First, grind up your oats in a blender or food processor. This will be your exfoliant!

Next, chop up your avocado (be careful removing the pit!) and put it into a mixing bowl. Mash it up until it's a smooth, even consistency.

Next, you'll add the oats to your avocado, followed by your coconut oil, lemon juice, and finally, the honey! Fold it together until all of the ingredients have mixed together evenly.

Pro tip:If you want to add the whole mixture to a blender afterward for a bit more smoothness - go for it! Definitely an optional step (I did it)!
