Hey Jackpot Candles Fam!

Hello everyone! Welcome to Jade's Two Scents - it's my every-week Jackpot Candles vlog where I talk about anything that's on my mind... Usually related to the best scented candles; skin-soothing bath bombs; and how to self-care like a boss! Thanks so much for joining me :)

It's a rainy day here in Buffalo... I love a rainy day. Thunderstorms... Lightning... Ugh, I LOVE it. Stormy weather has a way of putting you in different moods. On one hand, rainy days make me super motivated! I'm zipping around, getting stuff done around the house, feeling active. On the other hand, sometimes rainy days make you want to bundle up - snug as a bug in a rug. Those are my cozy days.

I'm BOTH of these people, depending on the day... So let's talk about the things I like to do when it's a little bit blustery outside: 

Rainy Day Ideas:

Active Mood:Clean! And I don't just mean your regular cleaning routine... Do something a little out of the ordinary - something that's been on your to-do list for a while. Organize your closet, and with each item, ask yourself "does this make me happy?" If it doesn't - donate it!

Same goes for that junk drawer that's starting to overflow! You can make amazing drawer organizers with cardboard boxes... We're all getting tons and tons of Amazon boxes these days, amirite?!

Coziness:Find yourself a comfy old flannel. Get yourself a familiar movie (for me it's Harry Potter) or something new you've been dying to watch. Bundle yourself up with your favorite blanket, find your comfiest spot in the house, and lounge around. You've definitely earned it!

The crown jewel of a rainy day... The comfy, cozy candle scent. Everyone knows your day spent cleaning isn't done until you light the candle at the end. If you're bundled up, a warm, familiar scent can be that perfect bit of aromatherapy to put you in that rainy-day state of relaxation.

For me, it's Caramel Latte... But we also have: Pumpkin Spice; Sunday Brunch; Warm Apple Pie; Salted Caramel; and Cinnamon Chai. We've got candle options for DAYS... And remember, at the end of your rain day, you'll be getting a ring surprise in each and every candle. You can't beat that!
